More Saranac Lake

We took a return drive to High Falls to get photos in the snow.  This place is beautiful year round ( as shown in a 2019 blog)

We all went to see an amazing “puppet show”in nearby Lake Placid.   Earth’s Prehistoric Aquarium Adventure is presented by a group of very talented Australian performers and puppeteers.  The show is filled with a history of the ancient creatures that lived in the ocean and their more modern descendants.  As a group of children joined a guide, puppets, as large as twelve feet, were manipulated around the stage.  They ate, swam and, of course, attacked.  The interactive (audience participation) show was as mesmerizing for adults as for children.  No photos allowed.

The range and quality of restaurants in this area is surprising.  After the show, we enjoyed excellent sushi.

Games are an important part of our togetherness.  (But poor Jerry has no bridge.)
While Jerry and Dave took Bennett for swimming lessons,
Anna Lee accompanied Cheryl as she canvassed for a local Democratic candidate for Congress.  We enjoyed meeting a couple of her neighbors.  They were friendly and welcoming.  The one Anna Lee is most curious about was not home.  They have a lovely mazuza.

We left early the next morning to join Jeff on our trip to Iceland.  Much more later.
