We drove two hours through LA traffic to pick Bennett, Cheryl and Dave up at LAX. Our next stop was nostalgic, The LA County National History Museum, where Cheryl got her first museum job. She enjoyed seeing both the changes and what has remained from her time there.
We all enjoyed the dinosaur exhibit and the hands on exhibits.
Worn out from their early departure (4am our time), we settled them into the RV in preparation for our long drive to Las Vegas.
We had originally planned to start this fall trip in Vegas, but 111 degree temperatures there caused us to go to LA where we did have a great time. With twenty degrees cooler temperatures, we now found the Sin City more hospitable. We all cooled off at Town Square where Bennett could run in the maze, splash in the water and ride the train.
Bennett enjoyed his own pizza for dinner
