Vermont Marble

Vermont is known for its marble, so we had to go to the Marble Museum. The displays were attractive, but the chance to talk to a sculptor was what made the visit worthwhile.

Vermont also has covered bridges as we discovered on our way from the museum.

Our reason for coming to Essex Junction, Vt was to join a Family Motor Coach Association area rally (basically a gathering of RVs). We are with a group called CHAI (Jews in RVs) with whom we will enjoy talking, wining and dining, and going to seminars.

But first we had to eat. Jerry and I found a new restaurant, The Belted Cow Bistro, that would be at the top of our recommendation list back home. The salmon and halibut were fabulous. We may have to go back again before we leave.
